ZenSpace and IMEX 2024 Case Study
Client Overview:
IMEX is one of the largest and most prestigious global trade shows for the meetings, events, and incentive travel industry. The 2024 edition of IMEX, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, attracted thousands of attendees and exhibitors, all looking for opportunities to network, collaborate, and showcase their offerings.
Challenge:
With an event of this magnitude, providing attendees and exhibitors with a quiet, professional space to conduct meetings, focus on work, or host media activities like podcasts was crucial. IMEX wanted to offer an official work lounge that would enhance the attendee experience, while also activating underutilized foyer spaces with additional meeting pods.
Solution:
ZenSpace partnered with IMEX 2024 to set up its official work lounge at the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Convention Center, offering attendees a flexible, tech-enabled space for business meetings and focused work. ZenSpace also placed additional meeting pods in the foyer areas, allowing attendees and exhibitors easy access to private meeting rooms without leaving the event. One ZenSpace pod was dedicated to podcasting, creating a professional environment for live media coverage and content creation.
Results/Impact:
The ZenSpace pods were a huge success at IMEX 2024, with over 600 people utilizing the pods throughout the event for meetings, work, and podcasting. Attendees and exhibitors appreciated the convenience and privacy provided by the pods, which helped elevate the event experience. The work lounge and foyer pods were consistently in use, proving the demand for on-demand workspaces in large-scale events.
“ZenSpace provided the perfect solution for our attendees at IMEX 2024. The official work lounge and the additional pods in the foyer allowed our guests to stay productive without leaving the event space. The seamless integration of ZenSpace into our event was instrumental in its success. We look forward to working with ZenSpace again in the future.”
