ZenSpace Launches Platform to Help Hotels Turn Underused Spaces Into Bookable Revenue — Without Major Construction

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HAYWARD, Calif. — June 6, 2026 — ZenSpace, the smart-space platform for hotels and real estate operators, today announced the launch of its space management platform. ZenSpace gives hotels a practical way to turn underused rooms, lobbies, foyers, cabanas, business centers, and common areas into bookable, paid, accessible, and measurable revenue inventory — without major construction.

Hotels are excellent at selling rooms, but many properties under-monetize the rest of their footprint. Meeting rooms, business centers, lobbies, foyers, cabanas, and lounges are often valuable square footage that supports ambience without directly generating measurable revenue. ZenSpace brings these spaces into one operating layer so operators can activate them as self-service inventory and finally see how that space performs.

Hotels already own valuable space that sits underused because it is not connected to booking, payments, access, or operations. ZenSpace turns that space into a measurable revenue line, and gives teams a low-risk way to start small and expand as the numbers prove out.

— Mayank Agrawal, founder and CEO of ZenSpace

A new revenue line from space you already own

ZenSpace makes physical spaces operate like real inventory across four areas:

  • Bookable — every space gets a clear booking path, whether reserved from a website, QR code, display, direct link, or staff-assisted flow.
  • Paid — pricing, payments, vouchers, and packages turn informal space usage into measurable revenue.
  • Accessible — confirmed bookings connect to the right access path through magic links, PIN codes, smart locks, or QR check-in, reducing manual handoffs and front-desk coordination.
  • Measurable — operators can finally see utilization, revenue per space, revenue per square foot, booking conversion, and channel performance, and decide where to expand or adjust.

The result is more revenue per square foot, fewer staff handoffs, and better use of existing space — with reporting and controls in one place.

Intelligent optimization with ZenAI

ZenSpace also includes ZenAI, an AI layer that helps teams get more out of activated space. ZenAI agents watch real operating data and recommend high-value actions — keeping inventory live across booking channels, suggesting slot-level pricing for high-demand and soft periods, summarizing daily revenue opportunities, and flagging operational issues before they affect guests. ZenAI is designed around recommendations first, with operator approval, permissions, and audit trails throughout, so teams stay in control. The core ZenSpace platform is production-ready and in use by operators today; ZenAI agents are available in beta for launch partners.

Grounded in a real hospitality environment

ZenSpace's approach has already been demonstrated at Prince Waikiki, where the platform helped activate bookable private workspace in a reimagined common area without major construction. The deployment combined self-service booking, smart access, and remote monitoring to create a new hourly and day-use revenue opportunity from existing space.

The Prince Waikiki Example

At Prince Waikiki, one of Honolulu's most celebrated oceanfront hotels, management saw an opportunity to extend guest comfort beyond traditional spaces. Partnering with ZenSpace, they transformed a scenic terrace into a quiet, connected haven using Smart Meeting Pods — blending the serenity of the ocean with the functionality of a workspace.

The pods allow our guests to flow between relaxation and productivity without ever leaving the resort. We've seen everyone from executives to families use them — whether for a quick call, a post-checkout break, or a private meeting. It's an amenity that feels intuitive and forward-looking.

— Claire Park, Property Operations Manager at Prince Waikiki

For Prince Waikiki, the addition of Smart Pods didn't just enhance the guest experience — it unlocked new revenue and operational insight. The property now uses data collected from pod utilization to inform staffing, marketing, and future space design.

ZenSpace gave us visibility we never had before. We can see real-time usage, manage access, and even adjust settings remotely — all while keeping the guest experience seamless.

— Claire Park

Availability and pricing

The ZenSpace software suite is available now at a pricing anchor of $99 per month per active space, with final pricing dependent on rollout scope, integrations, and implementation needs. Operators typically start by activating a first set of 3–10 spaces, prove the operating model and revenue, then expand across the property or portfolio.

Hotels are ZenSpace's primary focus for 2026, with the platform also applying to coworking operators, commercial real estate, and partner pod ecosystems.

Operators can model the potential monthly and annual lift from activating spaces they already own by building a ROI Blueprint at zenspace.io, or book a demo.
